Liv Tyler isn’t only the face of Belstaff, she is also a creative contributor for the English brand. On Wednesday, February 10th in Soho, a short film premiered that Tyler both produced and starred in for Belstaff, a company well-known for minimal, weather proof jackets, and worn by only the coolest of motorcyclists, aviators, and fashion followers. The sleek scene was attended by celebrities such as Amirah Kassem, Becka Diamond, Charlotte Groeneveld, Cleo Wade, Jamie Burke, Johannes Huebl, Matthew Hitt, Margot, Michele Hicks (all wearing Belstaff) as well as Jefferson Hack, Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Nell Diamond, and Untitled’s Indira Cesarine, who all stopped by to celebrate with Tyler.
The short film, titled Falling Up, retraces the footsteps of Amelia Earhart, one of the first woman that Belstaff dressed. The film gave viewers hints of history, romance, and adventure, all within a short time frame. The short clip was projected at Belstaff’s pop-up shop which opened on February 6 and will be up for two weeks.
Located on Greene Street, fashion insiders and famous friends trickled in and out of the new spot, drinking champagne, and listening to music by Fabrizio Moretti. Following the cocktail and film premiere, Liv Tyler and Jefferson Hack hosted an intimate dinner at Fat Radish to celebrate the occasion.
The film can be seen at the Belstaff popup shop, located at 60 Greene Street until February 27.
