Famed graffiti artist and pioneer of the subtle art of IDGAF, Banksy is giving New York another run for her money with his latest public art installation–and it’s not graffiti. No, it’s a real exhibition, complete with a bench, carpet, security guard, and, according to his official website, “complimentary refreshments.” You would almost think you were in a contemporary gallery in Chelsea, if it weren’t for all that gravel and deafening noise. The exhibition, completed with the help of legendary Brazilian graffiti artists Os Gêmeos, is the latest installment of Banksy’s “Better Out than In” series, works being completed as part of his month-long October residency of New York City. À-la-real-gallery, all of Bansky’s public works are accompanied by an audio guide, all of which you can stream on his website.
