BERNARD CHANDRAN COLLECTION PHOTOGRAPHS
Designer Bernard Chandran, Malaysia’s top fashion designer, had studied fashion at the International Fashion Training Centre, in Malaysia and then studied at the Paris Fashion Institute in France. In 1999 he joined the ‘Open European Contest for Look of the Year 2000’ and wins, becoming the first non-European to win the title. Chandran shows his Spring / Summer 2011 collection featuring models in sculptural tailored outfits with emphasized cap-sleeves. One of the favorites of this collection was a black embellished evening dress that’s fitted at the top and flared out at the waist. A dramatic and stunning collection with a strong emphasis on metalics for spring.
