ELISA PALOMINO – LONDON S/S 2012 FASHION SHOW VIDEO BY XXXX MAGAZINE
Spanish born designer Elisa Palomino has worked for Moschino, Roberto Cavalli and Christian Dior before launching her first solo collection in February 2010. Her new offering was inspired by the ‘Victorian fairy painting movement.’ It is exceedingly feminine, with embellished fishnet body stockings worn under ruffled party dresses, ostentatious floral headpieces and doll-like make up. There are ribbed pleat silk dresses with heavy, naive, oriental embroidery, fringed day jackets, long crochet dresses in neutral and Rococo colours and Victorian vintage lace and fur.
