ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE: Benefit Auction
April 5th – April 19th, 2018
Register to bid through Artsy HERE
“ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE,” the critically acclaimed group show of over 80 artists responding to Donald Trump’s administration, drew crowds of politically-minded art lovers to The Untitled Space throughout January and February. After moving to Artsy to remain on view, the exhibition will go up for auction (also through Artsy) on April 5th, 2018 at 12pm. Bidding closes on the 19th at 5pm.
The ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE Benefit Auction celebrates art for activism. Collectors will have the opportunity to bid on original and significant works by more than 65 emerging and mid-career artists including Grace Graupe-Pillard, Rebecca Leveille, Michelle Pred, Signe Pierce, Parker Day and Indira Cesarine. A number of new pieces—such as a painting by Annika Connor, electroluminescent purse by Michele Pred and several politician voodoo dolls by Rute Ventura—will also be on sale exclusively through the auction in addition to many originally exhibited in “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE.”
A portion of proceeds from the auction will benefit the ACLU, a nonprofit dedicated to protecting the civil liberties of everyday American citizens, so prepare to bid big! For more information on “ONE YEAR OF RESISTANCE,” click HERE.
