New Art Dealer’s Alliance NADA Art Fair
Pier 36 | Basketball City 299 South Street, New York
May 14-17
The New Art Dealer’s Alliance has announced the upcoming fourth annual NADA art fair, which will be held at Pier 36 on the East River. This is an exhibition of 100 galleries from all around the world, including 27 first-time exhibitors. NADA hosts two fairs a year: New York, and Miami Beach. Unlike most art fairs, what makes this one unique is the fact that it is 100% free and open to the public.
Founded in 2002, New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) is a not-for-profit collective of professionals working with contemporary art. Its mission is to create an open flow of information, support, and collaboration within the arts field and to develop a stronger sense of community among its constituency.
Some of the galleries that will be exhibiting include 1/9unosunove (Rome), ACME gallery (CA), Independent Curators International (NY), Museum of Contemporary Art Santa Barbara (CA), LUCE Gallery (Turin), DUVE (Berlin), The Sunday Painter (London), COOPER COLE (Toronto), and many more. Many other galleries that will be exhibiting at NADA will include ones from various states in the U.S (LA, OR, NY, KS, MN, MA, MD) as well as a wide range of countries (Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, UK). The gallery will be open on Thursday May 14, 6-8PM, Friday May 15, 11 AM-7PM, Saturday May 16, 11 AM – 7 PM, and Sunday May 17, 11 AM – 5 PM.
