GEORGES HOBEIKA – HAUTE COUTURE RUNWAY
Soft, elegant femininity swept the Georges Hobeika runway this Haute Couture season. Sheer fabrics, lace detail, and floral appliqués created a feeling of romance. The peplums, full skirts, and cropped jackets were reminiscent of 1950s glamour. Green and red dominated the collection, but the hues gave way to softer pastel hues of turquoise, lilac, and dusty blue. Texture arrived in velvet, seen in tied necklines and belted waists, and intricate beading that seemed to float on sheer fabrics.
