The famed focal point of Armory Art Week, The Armory Show took over Piers 92 & 94 from March 7th to 10th, drawing collectors, gallerists, artists and art lovers from around the world. Sales from the show were strong, with independent collectors as well as institutions acquiring works exhibited. Winner of the Presents Booth Prize, blank projects (Cape Town), was awarded $10,000 for its outstanding presentation of artists Igshaan Adams and Cinga Samson. Next year will mark the 25th anniversary of The Armory Show, which will certainly see special programming to mark the occasion.
