Miley Cyrus is back and better than ever with her new album, Younger Now, which debuted on September 29th. Following the country-turned-rap-now-turned-country songstress’s highly publicized rejection of marijuana, it’s easy to interpret her latest offering as a sort of rebirth, or perhaps just a return to her country roots. Breaking with the heavy electronic production of her last couple albums, Bangerz and Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, every single song on Younger Now and its accompanying music was written and co-produced by Cyrus herself. The album’s third track, Rainbowland, features Dolly Parton—a nod to Cyrus’s past cover of Jolene.
The album art, photographed by Olivia Malone, features a custom leather ensemble by Moschino designer Jeremy Scott.
