It was a star-spangled night for Moncler’s “Tribute to New York City” project that was revealed with a cocktail party on November 16th at the celebration of their first US flagship store. The legendary jacket company teamed up with two Manhattan-based creatives, Thom Browne and Spike Lee to create exhibits that reflect “New York City”. For his impression, Browne designed an American Flag installation consisting of twenty-eight limited edition Moncler puffer jackets. The red, white and blue themed jackets used in the installation will be sold to benefit Robin Hood, New York’s largest poverty fighting organization. Lee’s representation of New York City was a short music film that expresses Lee’s thanks to the city. The film was directed by Lee and guests at the store’s opening could experience the video in a private viewing room.
