NICOLE FARHI – LONDON S/S 2012 FASHION SHOW VIDEO BY XXXX MAGAZINE
Anna Wintour was front row for the Nicole Farhi show. French-born, London-based designer Nicole Fahri’s collection was a contrast of soft chiffon and feminine prints juxtaposed with masculine shapes. Listing her SS12 inspirations as “Flowers, ice cream and lightness.” This collection looks light and fresh and summery with yellow, red, pink, orange, green, lemon yellow and crisp white, sporty fabric in solid cuts, white on white sequin panels and large and small mesh and laser cut floral pieces. The fabric has geometric yellow and white checkerboard patterns contrasted with diffuse oversized floral prints.
