Shirazeh Houshiary’s sixth solo show features new paintings that continue to demonstrate her labor-intensive process through which she unites the written word and the surface of the canvas into a meditative visual experience. A group of anodized aluminum tower sculptures twisted in the shape of helices will also be on view.
Lehmann Maupin has shown Shirazeh Houshiary’s work since 1999. The artist lives and works in London.
