The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance’s 19th annual charity shopping blow-out, Super Saturday NY, brought hordes of fashion-savvy socialites to Water Mill, New York, on July 30th. Hosted by Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa, and Gabby Karan de Felice, the “one-of-a-kind designer garage sale” featured discounted merchandise from more than 100 designers, including DKNY, Ralph Lauren, VINCE., Bonpoint, Henri Bendel, Theory, and alice + olivia. Returning to Super Saturday was the 9th rendition of the “Designers A to Zoe” booth, a popular section of the sale that features a selection of luxury designer pieces, specially curated by Rachel Zoe and including big ticket names such as Aurelie Bidermann, Calvin Klein, Diane Von Furstenberg, Erin Fetherston, Giambattista Valli, Jenni Kayne, Lanvin, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Pam & Gela, Rachel Zoe Collection, Roberto Cavalli, Sergio Rossi, Stella McCartney and Temperley London. Those who were looking for more than clothing were able to score unique home goods and accessories at Karan and de Felice’s “Lifestye Marketplace,” a brand new addition to Super Saturday.
Also joining the event for the first time was Suite 1521. The Manhattan luxury destination hosted a booth of their favorite brands which included ADEAM, Anya Hindmarch, Ashish, David Koma, Edie Parker, Giles, Giulietta, Markus Lupfer, Mary Katrantzou, Olympia Le-Tan, Peter Pilotto, Preen, Rialto Jean Project and Rodarte.
Attendees who needed a break from shopping could enjoy psychic readings from Betsy Wahmann, crown making workshops from B Floral, and services rom Brancott Estate’s Flight Song wine bar and hair salon. In addition to the main sale, there was also a luxury raffle and an auction which featured four works by NYC artist, Jeremy Penn, who created each art piece on-site.
