Paul Windridge is a video artist, short film and music maker. Exploring what we perceive to be reality then presenting it as something completely different. His moving image works are multi-layered, atmospheric, and distorted voyages. Illusory displacements of time and place, which can be both harmonious and fractious, symmetrical and chaotic.
The music of my alter ego DJ 00 Newchair is powerfully rhythmic and atmospheric – made up of layered beats mixed with hybrid synthetic sound and original soundbites recorded from the everyday. Drift on electronic seas. Become immersed in a schizophrenic adventure reverberating through an alternative universe.
