Tia Cibani made her first solo debut this year after the designer left Ports 1961 in 2010. Her hotly anticipated line proved to be worth the wait. Inspired largely by a nautical theme, Cibani really paired down her line with a clean color palette: strong navy looks; whimsical peaches and yellows. The models looked perfectly draped, with breezy silhouettes that complimented the more free-flowing elements of Cibani’s inspiration. Ultra-wide-leg pants and draped tops complimented asymmetrical and curved hems perfectly, making the women look grounded in reality while maintaing the best kind of fashion whimsy.
