YIQING YIN – HAUTE COUTURE BACKSTAGE
Yiqing Yin’s second Haute Couture collection, entitled Spring of Nüwa, featured flowing, billowing creations that took on a life of their own on the runway. Yinqing meticulously folds, cuts, drapes, and sculpts the fabric into stunning works of art. Cool, steely grays blended effortlessly with bursts of deep metallic blues, turquoise, blacks, and reds. Delicate layered fabric detailing adorned the shoes. Models wore a simple braid and ethereal, glowing makeup.
