ZUCCA COLLECTION PHOTOS
Japanese designer, Akira Onozuka, had worked with the famous Issey Miyake honing his skills in preparation for the start of his own label in 1988 called Zucca. In 1989, Onozuka had his first international debut in Paris. This year he showcased a stunning spring/summer 2011 collection at the Couvent des Cordeliers, opening with a dramatic video art installation of waterfalls. A primarily black and cobalt-blue collection, a few of the favorites were the black sequined sweater dresses paired with a long sheer base and the neutral chiffon flapper-style dresses.
