Frieze London 2024 is bringing fresh energy with a redesigned floor plan that enhances the visibility of its curated sections. This year, a new section called Smoke,” curated by Pablo José Ramírez, debuts, likely offering a thought-provoking thematic exploration. Additionally, the popular Artist-to-Artist feature returns, spotlighting six solo presentations chosen by renowned artists including Hurvin Anderson, Lubaina Himid, and Yinka Shonibare. This initiative fosters artistic dialogue and provides a unique perspective through artist-curated showcases.

Meanwhile, Frieze Masters continues to grow with an expanded Studio section, featuring a diverse lineup of artists like Isabella Ducrot, Nathalie Du Pasquier, Shirazeh Houshiary, and Doris Salcedo. This section offers a broader scope of presentations, inviting visitors to explore contemporary interpretations alongside historical works.

Complementing the exhibitions, the Frieze Masters Talks Programme, titled “The Creative Mind”, is set to offer insights into the creative process. Hosted in collaboration with dunhill, the series includes conversations with prominent artists such as Nairy Baghramian, Glenn Ligon, and Barbara Walker. The program promises to delve into the inspirations, connections, and collaborations that shape the artistic landscape today.

Frieze London 2024 is shaping up to be a dynamic event, blending contemporary art, curated presentations, and engaging discussions that celebrate creativity and artistic exchange.
