MILLY – NEW YORK – SPRING / SUMMER 2013 FASHION SHOW
It wasn’t your typical notion of feminine glamour that dominated the runway at the Milly Spring 2013 show. The line was all about being sporty without sacrificing the chic female form. The youthful collection featured an emphasis on an athletic aesthetic with neoprene, hoodies and racer stripes—all adorned on mini dresses, pencil skirts, form-fitting blouses. Neon colors struck a cord being less 80s-obsessed than usual; the palettes were dimmed in favor of highlighting the carefully design work. Evidently the sporty focus did wonders in the way of attendees: Olympic sweetheart Ryan Lochte and Conor Dwyer were in attendance, taking in both the fashionable threads and the gorgeous models donning them.
