ANDREA CREWS – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
For her Fall 2012 collection, which also happens to be the 10th anniversary of her label, Andrea Crews focused on the idea of clothing worn for hunting and fishing, and gave it a touch of modern, French sophistication. Crews reimagined traditional outdoorsman garb, utilizing camouflage, quilted nylons, and corduroy. The fall collection was meant to present global travelers who left their mark on the world around them, but also embody how those travels influenced the traveler’s style and aesthetic. Crews took basic silhouettes, such as a button down shirts, or hunting capes, and gave them modern architectural structure that gives her pieces a fresh interpretation on sportswear while remaining highly wearable.
