ARZU KAPROL – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
Arzu Kaprol drew from the aesthetics of modernism and Bauhaus to craft his highly architectural Fall 2012 collection. Kaprol’s fall collection was a study in structure: formfitting leather dresses, military silhouettes amplified by silk and furs, and sheer panels paired with leather harnesses. The collection was sharp, angular, and precise, with contrasting bands of feathers, sequins, and leather giving the looks monochromatic depth. The looks were aggressively feminine and tailored with precise construction resembling modern armor custom made for these female warriors.
