Ariana Grande has a busy 2024 ahead of her. In between promo for her starring role as Glenda the Good Witch in Jon M. Chu’s Wicked remake, set to release this November, and pervasive rumors of dating co-star Ethan Slater, Grande has dropped eternal sunshine, the follow-up to her 2020 studio effort, Positions.
She has also dropped a “slightly deluxe” version with tracks featuring Troye Sivan and Mariah Carey. Both versions feature her grandmother Nonna Grande on closer, “ordinary things.” The song has made Nonna, who is 98 years old, the oldest living person to chart on the Billboard Hot 100, as “ordinary things” hits the charts with the rest of its parent album. To cap the initial album rollout off, Grande has released the music video for “we can’t be friends (wait for your love).”
