Taking place from May 24th-26th, 2019, The 10th edition of Boston Calling was one for books. Since 2013, it has served as the city’s premier event when it comes to experiencing live music. The festival moved from its original location at City Hall Plaza in Downtown Boston to the Harvard Stadium in 2017 –but never sacrificed monumental artistry (headliners included Tame Impala and 21 Pilots) in its ambitious expansion. Although many other entities strive to book new acts that can dominate a stage, Boston Calling has always been consistent with accomplishing such a large feat –and this year was no different. From the psychedelic musings of Tame Impala to the compelling stylings of Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals to the hypnotic trap underpinnings of Travis Scott, there was truly something for everyone. Below are some of the most memorable performances from this year’s festival.
