Christian Siriano released 25 pieces as part of his 2025 Resort Collection and showed off RuPaul’s Drag Race star Gottmik as his only model. Siriano was inspired by Gottmik’s fashion and confidence and wanted his collection to show audiences the performer’s beauty and elegance.

The collection is moody and dramatic but has Siriano’s classic elegance, and Gottmik wears the pieces beautifully. 19 of the 25 pieces are black, but no two look the same and the fantastical elements Siriano incorporates leave the collection feeling almost whimsical in its construction.
While black is an unusual color for Siriano, the glamour is nothing new. The collection is sophisticated yet edgy, and the contrast of the stricter looks with severe boning and corsets and the pink ruffling and ruching on others is shocking yet gorgeous.
There are plenty of ballgowns and long trains, but there are also sleek-suited looks and LBDs with architectural elements. When Siriano uses color, though, it is intense and playful. Purple iridescent taffeta and blushy shades of tulle pop against the black, adding a stronger overture of romance to the already grandiose collection. Increasing the general splendor is intricate hand beading that glints in between layers of sheer tulle. The sensuality of the collection is undeniable, but so is the playfulness. Classic and modern all at once, Siriano’s Resort 2025 is a shining addendum to Christian Siriano’s repertoire of stunning eveningwear.
