International lifestyle sportswear brand HANLEY MELLON officially debuted a preview of the Spring/Summer 2015 women’s wear collection during New York Fashion Week. The collection was presented to industry guests on September 10 at the Hudson Mercantile building. The presentation, the first for the new label developed by husband-and-wife co-founders and creative team, and industry veterans, Nicole Hanley Mellon and Matthew Mellon, will be followed by an edited Fall/Winter 2014 line, which will be available internationally, in stores and online, beginning in October 2014.
HANLEY MELLON embodies the style and sensibilities of husband-and-wife cofounders and creative team Nicole Hanley Mellon and Matthew Mellon. Boldly original yet versatile and practical, the designs are meant for any occasion and intended to be paired with apparel and accessories both traditional and unexpected.
Each collection is a snapshot of a different global destination, drawing on the creative inspirations and special items – patterns, fabrics, colors, beading – which catch the eye in the places HANLEY MELLON visits. Collaborations with local artists are the source for unique designs that echo the traditions of each place and will be featured as periodic exclusives.
