Kate Moss is inarguably one of the biggest style icons to come out of the last several decades. She somehow always looks effortlessly chic without ever seeming overdressed. Now, thanks to a new clothing collaboration with the supermodel, Moss’ glamorously low-key look will be available to the masses. On June 2nd, with a black-and-white ad campaign shot by fellow supermodel Daria Werbowy, Moss debuted a capsule collection with French fashion brand, Equipment. Moss’s longstanding relationship with Equipment started years ago when she would steal her husband’s shirts so when the brand approached her she didn’t have to hesitate before saying “yes” to a collaboration. Of the line, Moss commented: “It’s just the kind of things I would wear. It’s the way that I like to dress. You know, when you just throw on a silk shirt and feel good in it. It’s kind of that tomboy but sexy dressing I feel comfortable in for the day.”
Those seeking the “sexy tomboy” look can choose from an assortment of silk blouses, blazers, and sweaters that come in a palette of white, black, gray, and red, with some stars, leopard spots, and Bowie bolts thrown in for good measure. For shoppers who can’t wait for the line to hit retailers on June 15th, you’ll have to head over to The Untitled Boutique for our selection of favorite looks, Equipment online or Net-A-Porter in order to score the covetable clothes. Unless you are lucky enough to be in London to attend the Kate Moss x Equipment pop-up shop, up until June 9th at 62 Blandford street.
