“The theatre is who I am – it’s where I feel the most inspired, the most at home, the most useful.”  -Mary-Louise Parker

Head to the Williamstown Theatre Festival from June 27th through July 8th to see Tony award winner Mary-Louise Parker in her element, on stage. She’s starring in “The Sound Inside” by Pulitzer Prize finalist Adam Rapp, directed by David Cromer.

Not only is Parker an incredible actress, but also an accomplished writer—in 2015, Simon & Schuster published her memoir, Dear Mr. You. For Untitled, she compiled a list of what keeps her feeling her best. Read on to discover what contributes to her endless, luminous beauty, inside and out.

Time with my dog
They say dogs lower your blood pressure and cortisol levels, which can’t hurt, but my dog makes me believe in a higher love that transcends talking.

Tons of sleep
This rarely happens but when it does, I see the difference!

Taking the high road
This one is tricky, but the more I train myself to not fight back when something really doesn’t matter, the more I like who I see in the mirror.

Toner from The Face Place
I have used this for decades. I use it twice a day. It sweeps away anything that shouldn’t be there, and never dries out your skin. My kids use it too.

Transcendental meditation
Any meditation will do, moving or still, but I like the simple prescriptive method of twice a day for twenty minutes. I believe it is the trick to un-furrowing the lines that take over. But I am not against lines on the face.

The totally effective tool that is the Clarisonic
I think the best thing you can do for your skin is keep it clean and this one is a triumph of science!
