Aqua Art Miami (Nov 30 – Dec 4)
The fair celebrates its twelfth consecutive installment this December and its third as one of the Art Miami family of fairs. It features emerging art, in particular international art programs, with an interest in supporting young and established galleries with strong emerging mid-career artists. This year, the five-day fair has partnered with the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD), a non-profit trade network on a mission to facilitate business between and for women art dealers. Aqua Art Miami and AWAD will be hosting a special morning panel on Friday, December 2 that will address ‘Unconscious Bias and the Art World,’ moderated by Susan Mumford, Founder and CEO of AWAD.

Fridge Art Fair (Dec 1 – 4)
When Eric Ginsburg founded Fridge Art Fair (yes, the name is a play on Frieze) in 2013 he sent out a challenging call for exhibitors — “Can you fit into the Fridge?” They did… and answered the call again when Fridge’s winter fair, dubbed “The Miami Popsicle Project,” made its debut last December in Brickell. This year the fair moves to the underground gallery at The Betsy Hotel on Miami Beach and has renamed “Betsy’s Curated Mini-Fridge.”

NADA Art Fair (Dec 1 – 4)
NADA Miami Beach is recognized as a much needed alternative assembly of the world’s youngest and strongest art galleries dealing with emerging contemporary art. PRIZM is a cutting-edge art fair that is multidisciplinary in scope. The fair’s mission is to promote the work of artists of color, who reflect global trends in contemporary art. The fourth edition will showcase over 40 artists from eight countries including: France, Haiti, Jamaica, Nigeria, St. Martin, and Trinidad and Tobago, split between two sections curated by fair Director and Founder Mikhaile Solomon and interdisciplinary artist William Cordova. Untitled, Art is an international, curated art fair founded in 2012 that focuses on curatorial balance and integrity across all disciplines of contemporary art. Untitled, Art innovates the standard fair model by selecting a curatorial team to identify, and curate a selection of galleries, artist-run exhibition spaces, and non-profit institutions and organizations, in dialogue with an architecturally designed venue. Since 2014 the curatorial team has consisted of Artistic Director Omar López-Chahoud with curators Christophe Boutin and Melanie Scarciglia. X CONTEMPORARY (Nov 30 – Dec 4)
X Contemporary is recognized for bringing untold stories in modern, contemporary, and global art movements to light the international art audience. The second edition of the fair will be located at the brand new Nobu Hotel Miami Beach in two indoor floors flooded with natural light and an outdoor garden with beach access that will transform into an epic sculpture garden. Also featured at X will be a historic exhibition in celebration of art business, “The Women Who Made Modern Art Modern,” curated by Michael Klein. The show profiles 16 art dealers active in the 1940s, 50s, and 60s, all whom are women, and all whom helped shape the careers of America’s most important 20th Century artists. X Contemporary is the first modern and contemporary art fair to partner with Nobu Eden Roc, an intimate and lively environment featuring 35 international galleries, with a special focus on private dealers and independent curators with unique access to new discoveries in 20th and 21st century art.
