Miami Art Week and its lineup of synchronous art fairs have joined the online art scope transition that most galleries, fairs, and artists have embraced due to COVID-19. Bringing a plethora of satellite art fairs as well as the legendary Art Basel Miami, this year’s Miami Art Week will be presented through online viewing rooms and interactive site maps.

‘OVR: Miami Beach’
December 2-6, 2020

Running December 4-6, 2020, with VIP Preview days from December 2-4, 2020, ‘OVR: Miami Beach will feature 255 galleries from 30 countries and territories. It will be accompanied by a series of online Conversations, gallery Walk-throughs, and virtual events hosted by our galleries and partners.

In addition, Miami Art Week, which kicks off on November 27, 2020, will bring vibrant cultural programming to South Florida.

NADA MIAMI 2020
December 1–5, 2020

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA), will take place in in a reimagined format, December 1–5, 2020. The 18th edition of the fair will showcase an international series of presentations from a diverse roster of 47 NADA Members and 27 first-time exhibitors for a total of 97 galleries from 44 cities, both in gallery spaces and online. The fair features gallery hubs in multiple locations, including the Bay Area, Brussels, Chicago, Detroit, Lima, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Riga, Tokyo, Toronto, and Warsaw.

NADA Miami remains dedicated to celebrating rising talents from around the globe. Visitors of the 2020 fair are invited to experience gallery presentations in person in their local city, and discover the best of contemporary art online through a newly-designed digital platform. Accompanying the fair, the virtual programming series showcases conversations and performances from the defining voices of contemporary art and culture.

Pinta Miami Live
December 2-15, 2020

PINTA MIAMI – Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art Show, in its 14th edition continues to present projects with international curators showcasing Latin American art with a global perspective in a unique digital platform. As one of the main references of Latin American Art for collectors, professionals, museums, and institutions PINTA MIAMI establishes itself with an Ibero American focus, counting with the presence of Spain and Portugal.

The 2020 edition of PINTA MIAMI LIVE launches on December 2nd through December 15, 2020 with around 100 galleries from Latin America, the United States and Europe, presenting artworks from over 300 artists. The digital platform allows access to free curatorial content that aims to continue stimulating interest in artistic production and expand its reach to new audiences. PINTA POP-UP events, taking place during Miami Art Week, highlight local Latin American artists, collections and exhibitions.

NOIR, NOIR: MEDITATIONS ON AFRICAN CINEMA AND ITS INFLUENCE ON VISUAL ART
December 1 – December 21, 2020

For Virtual Miami Art Week 2020, Prizm presents a dynamic fair with layered programming with over 30 emerging and established galleries and artists offering their varied Diasporic narratives and perspectives. “Meditations on the influence of African Cinema and its ideologies to incorporate artists whose work is influenced directly and indirectly by Africa(n) Diaspora cinema whose themes and ideologies are rooted in liberation, independence, recovery, healing and transcendence. These notions will be explored through a presentation of works in various media that include drawings, painting, video, photo, sculptures, installation, and new media,” reads their press release.

Though the fair is taking place remotely this year, UNTITLED, ART is taking great care to maintain relationships with Greater Miami Area cultural institutions. The fair has a programming of live events through local cultural partners to cement its relationship and appreciation for the city. Programs include a cocktail hour with the fair’s artistic director, conversations with exhibiting artists on Zoom, panel discussions, and installations.
