Punk trio Potty Mouth is keeping busy this summer! The all-girl group, composed of musicians Ally Einbinder, Victoria Mandanas and Abby Weems, released their self-titled EP last August that was produced by John Goodmanson. Since then, the girls have lined up a slew of performances to support it. Potty Mouth will begin touring with punk rock band Beach Slang in early July to kick off their show list. From there, the group will play at a few festivals, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Wrecking Ball in Atlanta.
To add to the band’s success, the girls will also perform as part of MoMA‘s Summer Series on July 21st in New York City. The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Sculpture Garden, with free admission, as long as you have a ticket to the museum for the day. It’s sure to be the perfect combination of art and music.
What’s next for this up-and-coming punk trio? The girls are busy working on their new album while lead singer and guitarist Abby Weems is spending her time writing new tracks with two of the group’s inspirations, Nina Gordona and Louise Post of Veruca Salt.
