This year, Scope Art partnered with VH1 to host an event with artist Aerosyn-Lex Mestrovic, who unveiled NOESIS:, an exhibition featuring hundreds of feet made from Japanese synthetic paper. Mestrovic hand painted the paper to create the longest continuous painting to be shown at this year’s Art Basel. In addition to Mestrovic’s work, Scope also featured an exhibit titled “The Deal Collection,” which rapper-produccer Swizz Beatz curated. Artists like Cleon Peterson, D*Face, Lyle Owerko, Sandra Chevrier and Swoon contributed to The Deal Collection. For its 14th edition, Scope welcomed nearly 40,000 visitors over the course of 6 days. Over 100 Exhibitors and 20 selected Breeder Program galleries presented work, alongside Scope’s special programming, encompassing music, design and fashion.
