SOOJIN-LEE – NEW YORK – SPRING / SUMMER 2013 FASHION SHOW
Soojin-Lee is a London based designer who used New York Fashion Week to launch her Byzantine art inspired Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Gold motifs, dramatic draping, and a more colorful extension of gothic imagery, the line highlighted the artistic potential of clashing patterns and bold colors. The natural progression of the line—from embroidered skirts to bubble dresses—always balanced playful and modern aesthetics, along with jewels that extenuation the line’s circular motif. The line found a striking balance between traditionally feminine and a bold new vision.
