THE NEW MUSEUM CELEBRATES 40TH ANNIVERSARY & ANNOUNCES NEW EXHIBITS

Who’s Afraid of the New Now?

On December 2nd and 3rd, the New Museum will celebrate its fortieth anniversary with a weekend of free admission, extended museum hours (10am to 8pm each day) and a panel of 40 artists (see below for the full list) in conversation about their work and history with the museum. Bruce Nauman’s iconic video, “No, No New Museum (Clown Torture Series),” will be reinstalled in the museum’s window, just as it was presented during his 1987 solo exhibition.
