Travis Scott has announced a live performance of his highly-anticipated album Utopia in Cairo, Egypt. Utopia, which is Scott’s fourth studio album, will be released on July 28, 2023, coinciding with Scott’s performance in front of the pyramids.
Scott, born Jacques Bermon Webster II, is an American rapper, singer, record producer, and songwriter. He is known for his record label, Cactus Jack Records, and his collaborations with various brands, including Dior, Nike, and McDonald’s. Scott is also known as a creative and visionary with a recognizable style.
Utopia is Scott’s first studio album since Astroworld, which was released in 2018. It marks his first full-length release since the mass-casualty crowd crush that occurred during his performance at the Astroworld Festival in Houston in 2021. Many fans blamed Scott for the deaths and injuries, which took place in his hometown.
In celebration of Utopia, which fans have been waiting for, Scott will take the stage in front of the Pyramids of Egypt in Giza. His stage will be in front of the pyramids with fans facing Scott.
The Pyramids of Egypt are one of the Seven Wonder of The Ancient World, and Scott chose this setting to immerse his fans in the world of Utopia. The performance will be “unforgettable.” It will be live-streamed, and it is yet another example of Scott’s prowess as a visionary artist.
