JACQUEMUS FALL/WINTER 2021 COLLECTION “LA MONTAGNE”

Simon Porte Jacquemus celebrated the release of his new Fall/Winter 2021 collection, LA MONTAGNE, with his first fashion show for over a year taking place in a film studio in Saint-Denis. The collection featured over 50 new looks and pulled inspiration from the mountains of Simon’s native hometown of Salon de Provence in France. For the first time ever, the coed collection was made available for purchase immediately after the show.

LA MONTAGNE featured looks centered around bright, spirited colors, “cartoonish and playful,” Simon called it, while also playing on more neutral-inspired designs. The entire collection was refreshing, to say the least.

Alongside the collection, as part of their Winter 21′ ad campaign, was the release of “Family Love,” photographed by Tom Kneller and unearthed in Hawaii. It featured a variety of black and cream looks, as well as a beige suit set and reflective sunglasses. The entire campaign was modeled by mothers, teenagers, and even toddlers celebrating familial love.

The show featured models such as Bella Hadid, Jill Kortleve, Adut Akech, Chloe Oh, Freek Iven, Imaan Hammam, Kayako Higuchi, Kendall Jenner, Mahamadou Diaoune,Oumie Jammeh, Rianne Van Rompaey, Woosang Kim, Yilan Hua, Yumi Nu, Yura Nakano and many others.
