TALBOT RUNHOF – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
The design team behind Talbot Runhof, Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof, were inspired to create their Fall 2012 collection, Bésame Mucho, after watching Anne Bancroft’s masterful performance as Nora Dinsmoor in the 1998 film adaptation of Great Expectations. The pair identified with the young woman who was deserted on her wedding day, with all of her hopes and ideals tarnished by sadness, left to decay in her house alone. The collection’s palette was inspired by the forest, mixing an assortment of greens, from peat moss to vibrant chartreuse, with brown neutrals. The looks were largely separates that paired tweed bouclé with iridescent mousseline.
