Nova’s Ark Project
60 Millstone Road, Bridgehampton, NY 11976
July 7 – July 11, 2016
The summer’s most anticipated contemporary and modern art fair, Art Southampton will return to Nova’s Ark Project on July 7th through Monday, July 11th. The annual art fair will host its fifth installment featuring over 70 international galleries and display a plethora of various art pieces from the 20th and 21st century.
Over the years, Art Southampton has represented a unique blend of art, featuring paintings, prints, performance art and sculptures and this year will be no different. Some of the featured exhibitions include East End’s most prolific past and present artists, like Perry Burns, Eric Fischl and Charlotte Park. The New York Academy of Art along with the Academy’s President David Kratz and co-curator Brooke Shields, will present Call of the Wild which will display alumni work focusing on nature and the animal kingdom. And Shark Tank host Kevin O’Leary will introduce his contemporary photography exhibition Irreconcilable Images on the fair’s opening night.
On Thursday, the Art Southampton fair will kick-off at 6pm with a VIP Preview Party with Parrish Art Museum and Southampton Hospital as the beneficiaries. Collectors, curators and other special patrons will have the opportunity to see this year’s work firsthand. Last year’s Art Southampton’s event set a new standard for blue chip artwork presentations. Over 21,000 guests visited the grounds and this year is expected to be just as successful. For more information on admission, click here.
