Pop, blues songstress and Untitled favorite, Elle King, dropped the music video for her latest single, “America’s Sweetheart”. This is the follow up to her mega hit, “Exes & Ohs” from her debut, certified gold album, LOVESTUFF. The music video was filmed at Moonlight Rollerway in Glendale, California, giving off retro vibes with roller skates, disco balls, and 70’s attire. She recently performed “America’s Sweethearts” on The Tonight Show and Ellen DeGeneres Show.
King was featured in The Untitled Magazine’s #GirlPower Issue in 2015. She sat down with our editor-in-chief, Indira Cesarine, for an exclusive interview and behind the scenes video where she talked about her early musical influences, being the daughter of comedian, Rob Schneider, and the influence of her rock n’ roll stepfather.
This has been quite a year for Elle whose “Ex’s & Oh’s” scored the #1 spot on the Alternative Radio chart, making her the second female artist in 18 years to reach #1 at Alternative Radio. Starting at the end of May, King will be on tour until mid August making numerous festival appearances, including Governors Ball and Firefly Festival.
