HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE 2024 AIPAD PHOTOGRAPHY SHOW AT PARK AVENUE ARMORY

Just last month, AIPAD returned to the historic Park Avenue Armory for their annual Photography Show. Held from April 25th until the 28th, AIPAD highlighted 77 galleries from around the world that showcased photography from the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries. The VIP Preview was on Thursday, April 25th, from 12-8 pm. The AIPAD Award was also presented to critic, curator, and collector Vince Aletti at 5:30 pm, as stated in AIPAD’s press release.

AIPAD’s 2024 Photography Show also held a Night of Photography the following evening, April 26th, from 5-8 pm. Presented in collaboration with the International Center of Photography, ICP celebrated its 50th anniversary and welcomed new collectors and connoisseurs. 

The AIPAD Photography Show also highlighted a variety of non-member guest exhibitors in this year’s fair, including Candela Gallery, from Richmond, VA; ELLEPHANT, from the Montreal; Magnum Gallery, from New York City; Photo Discovery, from Paris; and The Third Gallery Aya, from Osaka, Japan, among many others. AIPAD emphasized a show that would celebrate “collecting photography with light music and complimentary refreshments.”
