Gay-owned wine spritzer brand Cool Cat announced their series of Pride events to celebrate inclusivity with music and drinks. On June 24, they hosted an event at the Surf Lodge, the first-ever Pride party at the venue in Montauk. Jake Shears of The Scissor Sisters’ and DJ Dawson performed at the venue.

Cool Cat CEO and Co-Founder Rocco Venneri believes it’s essential that the lifestyle beverage brand is inclusive of all genders, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. These events bring together like-minded individuals who share similar values and experiences. Venneri explains his vision for the brand: “As a gay owned and operated beverage alcohol company, we’re thrilled to collaborate with like-minded, supportive venue owners and top talents like Jake Shears and DJ Dawson,” said Venneri. “Cool Cat is about leading culture forward, breaking barriers, and inspiring other minorities to follow their dreams. With hard work and the right team, anything is possible.”

Earlier in June, they hosted a Farm Disco in the Hudson Valley with FarmOn!, a nonprofit organization that works to help family-run farms in rural America. The event featured performances by drag queen Lady Bunny and DJ Lina Bradford and an appearance by model Christian Hogue. Upcoming events include a Tea Dance Pride Festival from June 24-26 and a Queer Art Summerfest on July 10. Both will take place at the 3 Dollar Bill, a new queer bar in East Williamsburg.
