On August 27, Live Lounge, presented by 17LIVE, hosted the first-ever label showcase for the global superstar, Kygo’s Palm Tree Records, which began a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment.
Norwegian superstar, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, a.k.a KYGO, is best known for his multiplatinum hits such as “It Ain’t Me” with Selena Gomez, “Higher Love” with Whitney Houston, “Like It Is” with Zara Larsson & Tyga, and “Lose Somebody” which featured OneRepublic. He has accumulated over 15 billion cumulative global audio and video streams and has rightfully earned his spot as a household name.

This showcase featured performances from Palm Tree Records artists such as Toronto-based DJ and producer Frank Walker, electronic duo Forester, songwriter, and producer Haywood, and Nashville-based writer and producer Petey Martin. All of whom have created their unique sounds and captured the attention of millions of fans all over the globe.
In attendance were influences and celebrities such as model and television personality Camille Kostek, Football player Chase DeMoor from the hit Netflix show “Too Hot To Handle,” and Billboard’s on-camera host, Chelsea Briggs, and many more.
