The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) has announced the programming schedule for NADA Presents at NADA New York 2024. For the 10th edition of the fair, NADA will host a signature series of conversations held off-site at 535 West 22nd Street, with programs occurring daily from May 2nd through May 4th at 1 pm and 3 pm, along with a special performance on May 3rd at 6 pm.
NADA states that the 2024 art fair will highlight a “dynamic selection from 92 galleries, art spaces, and non-profit organizations spanning 15 countries and 31 cities including Athens, Bucharest, Ghent, Montreal, New York, Portland, Warsaw, and Seoul.” As emphasized by NADA, this year’s exhibitors list showcases 59 NADA Members and 34 first-time exhibitors. NADA New York is an “expression of the organization’s commitment to the city, both as the cultural mecca in which the association’s headquarters and exhibition space are located, as well as a global epicenter of emerging and established galleries and artists”, as is explained in NADA’s introduction to the fair.
For the 2024 iteration, NADA Presents will be hosting “exciting discussions and panel conversations responding to and reflecting on contemporary questions.” As stated in the press release, “Programming will cover topics including but not limited to the current state and future of art collecting, the intersection of mental health and artistic expression, and the collective and personal experiences of migration and navigation through the art world as a person of color.”
Featured participants include: Adam Abdalla, Hunter Braithwaite, C.J.
