The ninth edition of NADA New York will run from Thursday, May 18th through Sunday, May 21st at 548 West in Chelsea, New York. This year’s fair will present work from 95 international galleries across three sections: Galleries, NADA Projects, and Sculpture Projects. A series of panel discussions, titled NADA Presents, will also be held throughout the weekend. Online viewing rooms for NADA New York are now live, and NADA Presents’ full programming schedule can be viewed here.
NADA Presents will be held adjacent to the fair at 535 West 22nd Street. The programs are free and open to the public, and will take place each day from May 18th through May 20th at 1pm and 3pm, EST. Topics will include the development of alternative and virtual art spaces, inclusive programs and opportunities for women and non-binary identifying art professionals, the future of the traditional art market, cultivating sustainable AAPI representation, and contemporary arts publishing.
Curated tours of NADA New York will be given by Commissioner, a collaborative art program “bringing people and artists together around the joys of supporting artists and collecting.” The tours will provide and in-depth look at artists across movements, junctures, and perspectives, and present opportunities to share insights, talk about process, and connect with the fair’s artists and galleries. You can book a guided tour with Commissioner here.
