Timothée Chalamet is set to star in a new Bob Dylan movie, A Complete Unknown, from director James Mangold to release in 2025. New photos online show Chalamet looking the part on set.
Mangold has clarified that A Complete Unknown is not a biopic on Bob Dylan but is instead a look at the time when Dylan first arrived in New York as a teenager in the early ’60s and revolutionized music with his electric guitar.
Recently, John Travolta took to Instagram to congratulate Chalamet on breaking a record Travolta himself used to hold: the first actor (since Travolta) to lead the top two domestic grossing movies for eight months with his starring role alongside Zendaya in Dune: Part Two as well as his role as the lead in Wonka. Travolta previously held this title for his parts in 1977’s Saturday Night Fever and 1978’s Grease.
