WHITNEY ART PARTY – NEW YORK – JUNE 6

2012 Whitney Art Party, taking place at Skylight Soho (275 Hudson Street) on Wednesday, June 6^th from 9PM to 1AM.

This year’s Art Party will feature music by Japanster and performances by artists Kalup Linzy and iona real brown.

In support of the Whitney Museum of American Art’s Independent Study Program (ISP), the evening will also feature a silent auction of 46 works, including pieces by 2012 Whitney Biennal artists,

All proceeds benefit the Whitney Museum’s Education Department, which is committed to exploring new approaches for education of all age groups. These educational programs and resources are designed to make the Whitney’s world-renowned collection of American art and its comprehensive exhibition program accessible to multiple audiences.
