The Untitled Magazine London Fashion Week Party with Designer Edeline Lee – Photography by Daniel Herendi
On September 18th, The Untitled Magazine celebrated their latest issue with a party for fashion designer Edeline Lee at The Scotch in SW1, London. Edeline Lee‘s collection was presented during London Fashion Week that afternoon to rave reviews. In celebration of her latest collection, The Untitled Magazine hosted a post-show bash at the London club, with special tunes by legendary DJ and music producer TommyD, and cocktails by 808.
Canadian-born, London-based Edeline Lee graduated with a First from Central Saint Martins and apprenticed in the studios of Alexander McQueen and John Galliano before working at Zac Posen in New York and as Head Designer for Rodnik in London. An unintentional soft launch led to a flurry of private orders and the birth of her eponymous collection in 2013. The designer has stated that she designs for the “Future Lady”: her work has been worn by stars like Alicia Vikander, Taylor Swift, and Solange Knowles. She has also received strong support from the women of the art world, who naturally gravitate towards her aesthetically sophisticated signature. Edeline Lee has been awarded support by the Centre for Fashion Enterprise and was two times Finalist for the Samsung Fashion & Design Fund. Her work was recently exhibited by the curators of the Fashion Space Gallery to represent the “Future of Fashion Presentation”. Spring Summer 2016 is her debut season on the official London Fashion Week schedule of the British Fashion Council.
The Untitled Magazine celebrated the release of The #GirlPower Issue with an exclusive launch event on September 16th in New York, and supported Edeline Lee’s collection with gift bags at her presentation and hosted the after-show party with copies of the latest issue for guests. Now available for purchase in over 30 countries, the #GirlPower Issue presents some of the most inspirational women on the radar today across the arenas of fashion, film, music, art, business, politics, tech and sports. The 240-page collector’s print edition features front covers of Charli XCX, Naomie Harris, Rebecca Ferguson, Lizzy Caplan and Banks, and additional back covers of Lydia Hearst, Marina & The Diamonds, Sharaya J, Say Lou Lou and Aimée Osbourne. The special edition was photographed exclusively by female photographers and written exclusively by female journalists in celebration of the theme.
