Check out The Untitled Magazine’s interview with Chase as he shares with us his career trajectory from the time he was scouted as a model to his debut acting role in Rosé All Day.
Tell us about your background growing up? Where are you from?
I am a 90s kid. I had a pretty fun childhood growing up, and I was always outside exploring or getting into mischief with my siblings. I was always very active with sports. I played baseball and football since I was 6 years old. I grew up in Ontario, CA then moved to Orange County, CA my junior year of High School. I’ve been out here ever since.
How and when did you first get scouted as a model?
I got scouted when I was 17 at a Starbucks at the Irvine Spectrum, but didn’t start to pursue modeling until I was 18 or 19.
What would you consider to be your career highlight so far?
There isn’t any one thing that would be a highlight. I have done a lot of amazing things thus far in my career. I’ve shot for major brands such as Abercrombie, Bebe, Calvin Klein, Jockey, etc. I filmed a reality show called House of Creators and I’ve been in music videos for Lady Gaga, Paris Hilton, and a few other artists.
Congratulations on your engagement, how did you and Kelianne meet? What do you have planned for the big day?
Kelianne slid into my DMs over the beginning of the COVID lockdown and we’ve just been dating ever since. We have a lot planned for our big day, but we are not revealing anything to anyone just yet.
Tell us about your debut acting project, Rosé All Day coming out in 2022?
Yeah that was a funny experience. I was a male cop stripper for a bachelorette party and had to strip for 10 women, so I’m excited to see that on the big screen.
Do you have any other acting projects in the works?
No other acting projects in the works right now. I’m currently in classes right now, bettering myself as an actor.
How do you balance being a father and your busy fashion and film career? Any secrets you can share?
I have a lot of help when it comes to balancing being a dad and my crazy career. My children’s mother is very much in the picture and she is a huge help, so is my mom. I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without them.
Who are your favorite designers for your personal style?
My favorite designers are Versace, Prada, and Gucci. I’m a pretty simple guy though, I just get a lot of my daily clothes from Boohoo, Urban Outfitters, and Zara. What I do like to do is wear jewelry such as necklaces, rings, bracelets, and don’t even get me started on the amount of watches I own!
I understand you are a passionate advocate of the paleo diet, what advice would you give someone who is looking to be paleo?
You need to be strict and stick with it, and find what works best for you because everyone is different!
When you’re not working, what do you enjoy doing?
I enjoy taking my daughters to Disneyland, going to the beach, or just hanging at home playing Call Of Duty.
What can we look forward to from you in 2022?
I’m shifting all my focus into acting, so that is going to be my top priority for my career this year!
Any New Year’s resolutions this year?
Stop biting my nails and to start reading more books, because I don’t read enough.
