CUNNINGTON & SANDERSON – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW

CUNNINGTON & SANDERSON – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW

After winning the On|Off Visionary Award, British design duo behind Cunnington & Sanderson, Matthew Cunnington and John Sanderson, presented their Fall 2012 collection for the first time in Paris.  Cunnington & Sanderson use experimental folding, cutting, and draping as a means to sculpt dresses for a woman’s body.  The collection was tailored and feminine, with a lot of on-trend peplums and midi skirts paired with sheer ankle socks.  The show opened with looks in all white, slowly transitioning into greys, and then rust colored prints paired with pieces in ochre, giving the effect of a collection aging and corroding over time.
