JENNY PACKHAM – NEW YORK – SPRING / SUMMER 2013 FASHION SHOW
For Jenny Packham’s Spring 2013 collection, all that glitters is gold. Equipped with sequin and sparkle, Packham’s Hollywood style hits the runway in a chic array of sparkling fabrics. The glamorous collection was embellished by Swarvoski crystals, sparkling bags and jewellery. Noteworthy looks include a canary yellow dress with a v-cut slit down the center with a Swarvoski encrusted evening bag. The buzz has been enormous around the British designer since Kate Middleton wore a bespoke dress by Packham for the first day of her Diamond Jubilee tour. Inspiration for the show came from Leading ladies in films like the original “Ocean’s 11” who ruled the Las Vegas Strip and the casino scene. “We took lots of inspiration from the early 60’s, but obviously tried to make it much more contemporary,”
