There’s no better way to shop and to give back than by attending the the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance’s (OCRFA) 19th annual Super Saturday NY. This year Donna Karan, Kelly Ripa, and Gabby Karan de Felice will host the designer garage sale, where the proceeds will go to ovarian cancer research, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, July 30th, 2016, at Nova’s Art Project in Water Mill, New York. A special preview hour will begin at noon.
Super Saturday NY, created by Donna Karan and the late Liz Tilberis, former Editor-In-Chief of Harper’s Bazaar and President of OCRF, has been raising money for the cause since 1988, and just last year, along with “QVC Presents Super Saturday LIVE,” raised over $3.4 million.
This year, the fun and impactful day will consist of lots of shopping for a cause, with discounted designer merchandise from nearly 150 well-known brands, including DKNY, Ralph Lauren, VINCE., Henri Bendel, MILLY, Michael Kors Collection, Theory, alice + olivia, Brooks Brothers, Soul Cycle, Jill Stuart, and Nicole Miller. Attendees will also get to visit a new booth, Lifestyle Marketplace, curated by Donna Karan and Gabby Karan de Felice. Visitors of the booth will have the chance to purchase unique clothing, accessories, and home goods chosen by the fashionable pair. Suite 1521, an exclusive luxury fashion destination on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is also bringing something new to Super Saturday NY. At the booth, attendees will be able to purchase ready-to-wear and accessories from high-end brands including ADEAM, Edie Parker, Les Petits Joueurs, Markus Lupfer, Natasha Zinko, and Preen. In addition, designer and stylist Rachel Zoe is bringing back her “Designers From A to Zoe” booth, which will feature pieces from her favorite luxury designers including Erin Fetherston, Moschino, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney Kids, Temperley London, and her own line, Rachel Zoe Collection.
Aside from shopping the designer deals, attendees will be be treated to a day of activities, including a flower crown booth, wine bar and hair salon, psychic readings, tons of decadent food, and even a fun afternoon for the kids. A luxury raffle will include prizes from designers Gucci, Manolo Blahnik, Lorraine Schwartz, Barneys New York, and more and will also include experiences, set visits, and luxury packages. New York-based modern artist Jeremy Penn will be creating 4 art pieces on-site for auction at the event.
